Granite Day!!!

Here is a little update on our island situation. I realize we provided the plans before but here is the updated version. Plans can change very quickly in Coni's kitchen.
We weren't thrilled with the idea of granite.. until we saw THE ONE. The keeper. The EGG MCMUFFIN of granite countertops. And we were sold.

This is the plan for the granite.

We plan on having the additional half circle to be the surface we congregate at. It will be a different material; we are thinking black walnut. Anyone have any connections to a black walnut vendor?

So yesterday was Granite day!
